It is a government’s initiative to Bridge the Digital Divide starting in April 2000. Now there are 42 active centres nationwide which are equipped with ICT facilities and services
Besides ICT training and servies, the centers also provide various entrepreneurial training programs for rural entrepreneurs to hone their skills.

Karnival Usahawan & ICT
Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC)
The Entrepreneurs and ICT carnival is a program designed to stimulate entrepreneurship mindset within the community as well as to generate local content.
People from the rural community are invited to participate in this competition, which is in collaboration with telecentre/internet centre/community centre. |
